Under the Blue Sky

Living in another country for more than one year, but I don't feel sad or discouraged. I know that I am under the same bule sky as my family and friends are no matter where we are, no matter how far we are.

Visa! Visa! Visa!

As Taiwanese, to go to travel abroad, we need visa. To study abroad, we also need visa. However, to apply for a visa, we might be viewed as suspected criminals.
We have to be treated infriendly and even discriminated by those staff working for embassies.

No matter why you want to go to their countries, for travelling or studying, your intensions are always being suspected as something else. Most of applicants don't feel anything wrong about their indifferent and aggressive attitude, but even beg them to get visa. Those staff feel that they are superior to others because they are authorised to determine to give visa or not. Therefore, they feel like that they can use their position to threaten applicants. To get visa successfully, most of applicants just take it for granted, and do not dare to say anything or to offend those staff. Because if complaining about them or trying to argue with them, they might not only be rejected and fail to get visa but also get trouble to be in the blacklist.
