Thanks God! My future is in your hand
Before I went back home this afternoon, the principal wanted to have a short talk with me. He asked me two things. The first thing was if I would like to teach in September, the second thing was that they might spilt some pupils in the senior group which I teach and swap my lessons. These two things had to be decided in a very short time, just a few seconds.
Actually, I have been wondering whether I should look for another job, staying at my current working place, or going back to Taiwan, so I was quite happy that the principal asked me about renewing my contract so early. I was still quite surprised to be asked cause it was about 2 months earlier than I expected. Besides, I thought that they might not want me to stay because I was not sure if they were satisfied with my teaching. Therefore, I had hesitated a while but replied him 'YES', although I was not sure if I made the right decision.
About the second thing, I was quite happy to teach those kids in different groups if that benefit them to learn well. Although I have to teach 4 other boys in Year 8 whom I have never taught, I would have few chances to teach those naughtiest boys in the group I have currently. Hopefully, things will be worked out well soon.
I feel quite relieved because there is no need of job-hunting, and I also could make some plans for this summer, such as going back to Taiwan, looking for new accommodation, etc. I really appreciate God for everything that he has done for me. Although I am still not sure if I will enjoy my life in the same place, I believe that God has his own plan for me. The school might be the best place for me to stay at this moment. Therefore, no matter how challenge my job will be, I will be brave, go for it and do my best, because I know that with God everything is possible.
Thanks God!!!
